Postdoctoral Researcher/Associate Scientist – Plasma Betatron X-ray Source ⚡ Turn powerful laser pulses into new scientific possibilities. Join ELI Beamlines to advance plasma betatron X-ray sources and explore applications in ultrafast spectroscopy, imaging and matter under extreme conditions. What will you do? • Research laser-wakefield acceleration and betatron X-ray generation • Optimize electron and X-ray beams, their quality and stability • Develop diagnostics, experimental hardware and data-analysis methods • Support Gammatron user experiments and source operation • Contribute to beamline upgrades, publications and research proposals What are we looking for? • PhD in Physics, Engineering or a related field • Research experience in lasers, laser-plasma interaction or X-ray techniques • Hands-on experience with high-power lasers, plasma/particle diagnostics or X-ray instrumentation • Strong experimental problem-solving and data-analysis skills • Publication record appropriate to your career stage • Good communication, teamwork and willingness to support user campaigns What we offer • International research team and advanced experimental facilities • Flexible working hours • Career growth and professional education • Meal allowance and pension contribution • 5 weeks of vacation + 6 personal days https://www.eli-beams.eu/cs/

Junior/Postdoc Researcher – Transient Current Technique 🔬 Interested in semiconductors, particle detectors and ultrafast lasers? Join the Department of Structural Dynamics at ELI Beamlines and help develop our laser-based Transient Current Technique (TCT) station.
