Postdoctoral Researcher – High Harmonic Generation Beamline 🔬 Ready to explore ultrafast XUV science? Join ELI Beamlines and combine independent research with the development and operation of our High Harmonic Generation (HHG) Beamline. What will you do? • Conduct research in HHG and ultrafast XUV science • Optimize sources, diagnostics and experimental methods • Support user experiments, from setup and alignment to data analysis • Troubleshoot technical issues and contribute to beamline upgrades • Publish results and explore new applications of coherent XUV radiation What are we looking for? • PhD in Physics, Engineering or a related field • Research experience in ultrafast laser physics, nonlinear optics or XUV science • Hands-on experience with femtosecond lasers or short-wavelength sources • Strong experimental skills and willingness to support beamline operation • Strong publication record, good English and teamwork skills • Experience with HHG, vacuum technology or XUV optics is a plus What we offer • Cutting-edge international research environment • Flexible working hours • Career growth and professional development • Meal allowance and pension contribution • 5 weeks of vacation + 6 personal days https://www.eli-beams.eu/cs/

Join the Department of Structural Dynamics at ELI Beamlines and help develop our laser-based Transient Current Technique (TCT) station.
