Junior/Postdoc Researcher – Transient Current Technique ⚡ Are you excited about combining ultrafast lasers, electronics and advanced particle detector research? ELI Beamlines is looking for a motivated Junior/Postdoc Researcher to join the Department of Structural Dynamics and help develop experimental capabilities at our laser-based Transient Current Technique (TCT) station. What will you do? • Support user experiments at the laser-based TCT station • Develop new experimental capabilities and measurement techniques • Contribute to data processing and analysis tools • Work with electronic and optoelectronic devices • Participate in national and international research collaborations What are we looking for? • PhD in Physics, Engineering, Electronics or a related field is desirable • Candidates finishing their PhD are also welcome to apply • Interest in particle detectors, semiconductors, solid-state physics or ultrafast lasers • Hands-on experience with electronic/optoelectronic devices • Programming skills (LabVIEW, Matlab, Python or C++ are an advantage) • Strong analytical, communication and problem-solving skills • Good English What we offer • Work in a unique international scientific environment • Cutting-edge experimental technologies • Flexible working hours • Career growth and professional development • 5 weeks of vacation + 6 personal days https://www.eli-beams.eu/cs/
