Join ELI Beamlines, one of the world's leading laser research facilities, and gain hands-on experience developing control systems for cutting-edge experimental equipment. What will you do? • Develop and improve control systems for the LUIS experimental setup • Integrate hardware components into a reliable control framework • Implement communication interfaces and device connections • Create user interfaces for experiment control and monitoring • Test, validate, and optimize system performance • Collaborate with scientists and engineers in an international environment What are we looking for? • Bachelor's, Master's, or Ph.D. student in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Automation, Cybernetics, or a related field • Basic knowledge of control systems or embedded technologies • Experience with Python, C/C++, or similar programming languages • Familiarity with Linux and Git is an advantage • Good communication skills and willingness to learn • Fluent English What do we offer? • 4-month paid internship • Dedicated mentor and support throughout the internship • Opportunity to work on a real scientific project • International environment with experts from around the world • Internship certificate upon completion • Networking events for interns • Valuable experience for future academic and professional careers https://www.eli-beams.eu/cs/
